Case Studies
Cryo-electron microscopy encompasses a range of methods that can be used to answer a whole host of biological questions. In these pages we have written a series of case studies to illustrate the types of biological question that can be tackled, and to give users an insight into the practicalities of each method.
>We focus on single particle and tomography data collection, as these are the most widely used. For more information on electron diffraction methods, please see 'which technique for you', or contact a member of the EM facility. Please bear in mind that every project presents its own unique challenges, and the case studies here act as a guide only. For further information, or tailored advice on how to use cryo-electron microscopy in your research, please contact a member of facility staff.
