... understanding life in molecular detail

Dr Iain Manfield

Protein purification, HPLC, molecular interactions, DNA-protein interactions.

I run our Centre for Biomolecular Interactions technology facility, which provides access and training for equipment for purifying molecules and analysing the interactions between molecules. Biophysical analysis of molecules and interactions.

Current major projects include:
  • Purification using HPLC and FPLC
  • Analysis of molecular interactions and protein properties
  • Analysis of DNA-protein interactions

Iain runs the Centre for Biomolecular Interactions (link), with Amy Magoolagan. Iain's background is in the analysis of DNA-protein interactions and protein over-expression and purification.
