Application: Circular dichroism spectroscopy is a fast, quantitative and non-destructive photometric technique that can help answer an array of common questions about the stability, structure and interactions of nucleic acids and proteins by measuring either secondary structure content (far-UV CD) or the environment surrounding chromophores in the bio-molecule (near-UV CD) under study.
