Our principal aim is to attract students of the highest intellectual quality who are excited by the revolution in biological sciences and by the prospect of a demanding multidisciplinary programme. In return we can offer a stimulating and challenging environment. Students with at least a 2.1 degree in any area of the life sciences and physical sciences, including Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry and related disciplines are invited to apply for the specific projects listed.

Applications for entry in September/October 2020.

Projects available for entry in Sep/Oct 2020 will be listed under the White Rose DTP banner pages on FindAPhD.com link on the right. The deadline for applications will be early January 2020.

Funding from the BBSRC DTP is only available to nationals of the EU. For UK nationals the award will cover the fees for the programme as well as a stipend. Nationals of EU countries who have not been living in the UK for the last three years will receive only the fees part of the award and will have to provide evidence of the ability to support themselves during their period of study.
